Harvesting throughout the Interior of British Columbia and in our forests is now fully mechanized using ground based systems. Mechanized systems provide a more controlled environment for our workers increasing their safety and improving the working environment during all seasons. Our equipment configuration includes:
• Feller buncher
• Grapple skidders
• Log processers
• Log loader
• Logging trucks
Because this part of BC has been actively logged over the past 50 years we have benefited from pre-existing all weather logging roads. That has meant that we have built very little permanent road since 2005. When we do build roads they are temporary in nature and are fully re-contoured and planted within a year of the harvesting being completed.
